MeRT is a non-invasive, drug-free approach that pairs EEG brain mapping with personalized magnetic stimulation.
By identifying brain activity patterns first, care can be tailored to your child’s needs with the goal of supporting regulation, attention, and day-to-day function. Results vary, and candidacy is determined through a clinical evaluation.

MeRT is customized using advanced brain diagnostics.

No medications, anesthesia, or sedation required.

Treatment is overseen by trained medical professionals.

Return to daily activities immediately after sessions.

Works Alongside Existing Therapies
Built on Established Neurotechnology
As a board-certified physician who graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Louisiana State University, Dr. Gabriel Agbanyim brings both professional excellence and deeply personal experience to his work at Novara Healthcare.
After years of practicing medicine, it was Dr. Agbanyim’s own son who ultimately led him to MeRT (Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy). Diagnosed with autism at the age of two, his son made slow progress with conventional therapies. When MeRT was introduced, everything began to change. Eye contact, speech, and emotional engagement started to emerge in ways Dr. Agbanyim had only hoped for.
Inspired by the transformation he witnessed firsthand, he immersed himself in the science and made it his mission to bring this innovative therapy to families who, like his own, are searching for answers.

MeRT is a personalized, non-invasive neuromodulation therapy guided by brain diagnostics. It combines EEG brain mapping with targeted magnetic stimulation to support brain regulation and function.
MeRT may be appropriate for children and individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as those currently undergoing evaluation. Eligibility is determined through a clinical consultation and assessment to ensure MeRT is a suitable option.
Yes. MeRT is a drug-free treatment and does not require starting or stopping medications. It can often be used alongside existing therapies and care plans.
MeRT uses FDA-cleared transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technology and is non-invasive. Treatments are performed while the patient is awake and are monitored by trained clinical providers. As with any medical treatment, a consultation is required to review individual considerations.
Treatment sessions are typically short, often lasting under 30 minutes. The exact duration and schedule depend on the individualized treatment plan.
No. MeRT does not require anesthesia or recovery time. Most patients are able to return to school, activities, or daily routines immediately after sessions.
